Jim Pearman is a
counter tenor (male alto). He has wide experience of English cathedral
music. He is a former Gentleman of Her Majesty's Chapel Royal at
Hampton Court and a former member of the Elizabethan Singers. As a
member of the RSCM Cathedral Singers and the Bewdley Singers he has
sung in almost all of the cathedrals of central and southern England
and Wales. He has a wide knowledge of choral music gained while a
member of the London Choral Society for many years.
He qualified for the
Archbishops' Certificate in Church Music (ACertCM) in 1990 and received
his certificate from Archbishop Robert Runcie.
Most recently he was a
member of the choir of St Andrew's
Church of Scotland in Brussels , and is now a member of the choir
of St Mary and
All Saints, Kidderminster.
